I don't know what it is with my painting flesh,
but for some unknown, bizarre reason, peach as a
skin color is a bad idea. I did four cels on top
each other where I used lightened shades of peach
for their flesh. If you match it to real cels,
it's a closer color than beige, which dries pale,
almost sallow. So I thought: "Hey, I did
something right for a change!"
Well, come to find out, they all of them "warped"
slightly. You can't really see by looking, but
when you run your hand over the cel, you can feel
bubbles in the acetate. !*^@#%@! And this ONLY
happened to the cels used with peach tones!?!
Henda... O_o I dunno. I just dunno...
So here's an example of a "warped", badly scanned
cel, Griffith from "Berserk" showing Gutts his
prized talisman, the Red Beheilt, from episode 4.
Doesn't look bad, but then you feel it...
Peachy keen. >.<
