Hi Karen (and everybody)

Jumping into survey fray:

I'm passing on what is most collected since
people have already answered with what I would
have said.

>What series do you buy from because the cels are
cheap & cute, cheap & pretty, etc....

I'm sure I would have answered this differently a
couple years ago since a few series have gotten a
bit pricier.

cheap and cute/cheap and pretty -- I only buy
inexpensive Miyu cels (not sure if you can find
many of them nowadays). But by cheap, I would
price that as under 20.

I also buy from the Ghibli film Omoide Poroporo
because they are cheaper in comparison of other
Ghibli films (it is a happy fact, however, that
it's one of my most favorite films of all time).

>What do you look for in cels?

The more I collect, the less tolerant I am of
damage/line fading to cels. That's one of the
reasons I haven't been collecting SM lately nor
can bring myself to shell out big bucks for a
faded DBZ cel ^^;;

But price is a big factor with me. I've passed
over nice things just because I thought they were
too expensive. To me, there's no such thing as
"money no object" just because there's always a
cheaper alternative around the corner. Like Keys,
I wait for them ^_^ It's an amazing feeling to
find the perfect cel AND spend very little $$$ on
it.

Cel dealers: prices, courtesy, packing -- all
those things are important. I don't necessarily
pick a dealer to support. There are many very
good sellers from whom I've only bought one or
two cels and then there are other sellers I seem
to buy constantly from -- but I make no
comparison to how "good" they are. There are,
however, some sellers (not always including the
regular dealers) I avoid because I don't want to
give them my business -- no matter how awesome
the cel. This is for a variety of reasons which
isn't appropriate to list here in a public forum.

Wendy
