Hey-- another question (hopefully this one won't
cause quite so much debate)! :P
I've read the FAQs online, but I wanted to get
everyone's opinion on this. What is the best way
to go about framing cels? I know it is probably
best to have it done professionally, but I live,
erm, far from civilization, and I seriously doubt
many of the framers around here would have had
experience with animation cels (I will definitely
ask, though). I've heard scary things from
people about cels being cut or damaged by
framers, so I'm a little hesitant to run over to
the local gay and leave my cel in his care. Of
course, I'd probably trust a professional over,
well, myself. Just in case, though, is there a
safe way to do it on your own? Where can you get
glass that blocks out UV rays? Do any frames
come with them? Should I just trust the framer
and leave it in his hands?
Please give me your input. I am new to this and
would like to start off on the right foot!
