Ok, yeah, I know that technically its in 
copyright violation, but so are 99% of all the 
image galleries and fansites out there--I'm 
certainly not going to argue about that. 

But if you assume that the person owning the cel 
at the moment has the 'rights' to the image, 
(since its not the company that's telling you to 
get rid of the pic) then where does it stop?  Can 
a hanken owner tell all people with scans of that 
image from artbooks/wallscrolls etc that THEY 
have to take the pics down, or on a non-hanken 
production cel owner have control over 
screencaps? 

*shrugs*  I have no idea.  But even without the 
image and likeness copyright stuff, there has to 
be some line that's an agreeable point for *most* 
people.
