Not lost but.... my cat chewed one of my nicer and more expensive cels pretty good.  
It was damaged mostly at the top though, the cracks barely reaced the paint in one 
spot, and I can trim it or get it framed and hide the damage.  It wil never be leaving 
my collection anyways.
