I use your-site.com. $5 a month, 50 mb, no ads,
25 email accounts (though I never use those ^^;;),
and a cgi-bin. They're very good about contacting
you whenever they're doing repairs that might
interrupt service, or whenever they have a problem
(both of which are rare, in my experience. I've
been with them for 2 years now, and they guarantee
that they'll be up 99.9% of the time). Domain
registration is an extra $20 a year, and the
domain is yours: you can take it with you if you
decide to leave them.
I got the domain because I was tired of constantly
having to jump free webpage providers when they
either went under or bit the bullet and decided to
make ads mandatory. It's just easier this way;
and came in handy when I wanted to look
professional graduating from a multimedia and web
design program *G*.
Good luck!
