I use the Lexmark Z83 scanner, printer, copier. 
It really is one of the best flatbed scanners 
I've ever used and it only cost me $179. The 
software I use is nothing special, Corel 
PhotoHouse 3. I think I bought that in a bargain 
bin for $10. Anyway, I would mess around with 
color and light settings a while until you get 
what you want.
