I really like the color/layout of your new pages. 
You've done a great job with it and I look 
forward to seeing them all up. 

As for your question regarding animated gifs, I'm 
fairly certain that one that small won't be so 
bad. However, you might want to reconsider the 
size of your thumbnails. Those take too long for 
me to load (still on dial-up). I make it a rule 
that thumbnails should be under 20k in order for 
a quick upload. My thumbnails are even under 10k 
(just because I couldn't stand it if I couldn't 
view my own page super fast so they are tiny, I 
know). Personally, my philosophy is that 
thumbnails should give the viewer enough 
information to want to look at the larger scan. 
Thought you might want to think about it while 
you are tinkering with everything else!
