I can't say that I haven't spent a lot on my 
collection.  (But never that much for a single 
cel--not even close!  o_O)  Really, when you add 
up all the cels from big collections, even if 
each cel is only in the $50-$100 range, it can 
still add up to a small fortune.

Still, I agree with you completely!  I could 
never justify spending that kind of money on a 
single piece of acetate.  It's nice that some 
people can afford that, but at that point I would 
have to come to terms with the fact that I could 
do so much more with that much money...  I may 
still buy cels, but I feel pretty comfortable 
with my limit for how much I'm willing to put 
into--what is, in the end--a hobby.  Everything 
in moderation, ne?
