Keeping in mind that I have never seen a fansub 
of Princess Mononoke, what was different? I don't 
know about the dub (if I have the option of 
subtitles, I only *rarely* choose the dub) but 
the subtitled version seemed to come across just 
fine.

Also, I don't think releasing or not releasing 
will have much of anything to do with cel prices 
on any Miyazaki (sp?) film. . . The cels are well 
out of the "now everyone is going to be getting 
one" price range, even before the releases. The 
reason other series' cels have shot up in price 
is because almost anyone can cough up $40-$50 for 
a novelty. A pretty large percentage of people 
can cough up $100-$200 for a novelty. But as you 
get further up in price, there are fewer and 
fewer who can/will pay a given price for paint 
and plastic that has no real *use*.
