Ok, what I'm about to say isn't a flame on you, 
but rather your friend. There is indeed 
*something* called The Legend of the Overfield. 
It's a very disturbing and, I find, senseless 
anime filled with violent rapes, dismemberments, 
ect. There is a plot (about the three realms 
being joined every 3000? years) but it's really 
just a lame excuse to show sex and violence.

The fact that your friend doesn't have any 
interest in anime other than this, IMO, just 
shows how many sickos there are out there who say 
and thinkg "Anime? Oh, yeah...that's animated 
porn." 

*grr* now I'm angry!
