I had no problem using it. I did receive an e-
mail stating they received my donation almost 
imediatly after I placed it.  But if there is any 
doubt about donating money through paypal then do 
not do it.  www.redcross.org has a link on how 
you can donated money to the redcross,so use this 
method if you are worried about using paypal.
