I totally agree with everything that you just 
wrote, I am in the same boat...
I have overpaid..underpaid.. under and over sold. 
I am guilty of all the above, so I'm no angel.
I agree, about "the search" process, and also,
that most "veteren" collectors don't spend crazy 
amounts (usually) for a cel, since they have many 
cels already and have gone through the ups and 
downs of collecting. I think that most of the new 
collectors that want to "hit the big times" are 
the ones paying that kind of money right now for 
DBZ.
BTW,
 I don't mean to criticize, just having a "pro 
vs. con" debate with you, if it sheds new light 
on something on the forum that is good, I am just 
being a "devils advocate", nothing personal. I 
have seen your collection online and it speaks 
for itself about quality! I just felt like 
wrestling...;)Although I do collect DB cels,
I also collect Lodoss (just ordered one from you 
yesterday!) and a few AMG cels that I am now 
considering. So don't think I am the defense 
attorney for DBZ collectors! :)
I joke around in a funny way,the "condesending" 
remark was made in the context of my actual 
respect for the knowledge that you have shed (not 
to be taken literally)...sledge-hammer style!
