I don't have a strong preference as far as full 
body, 3/4 face or whatever.  The most important 
thing for me is how well the emotion is 
expressed.  Sometimes it takes the whole body 
(position, gestures,etc) and sometimes looking at 
the eyes is enough. My cels are fairly evenly 
divided between whole body, 3/4 and full face 
shots.  I only have two profiles and both are in 
group shots where the other characters are 3/4 
shots.  I think its harder to convey emotion in a 
profile shot, although I have seen a few that do 
it very well.
