I find it somewhat distressing the number of
anonymous forum posts lately that really would be
much better handled with a polite email to the
party involved.
Some time ago I missed the end of the auction for a
very nice Kenshin cel on eBay. I was overjoyed
when a couple months later I saw the cel relisted,
and prepared to bid. But then, the auction was
ended early! I was crushed at having twice seen
this cel slip through my fingers.
However, instead of posting a snide anonymous
comment to the forum, I sent a polite email to the
seller expressing my disappointment and wondering
what had happened. The seller satisfied my
curiosity (the first high bidder had stopped
responding to email, but suddenly had sent payment
during the second auction). Furthermore, it turns
out that the seller had a second cel from the same
sequence, which they offered to me at below the
first auction's ending price!
Needless to say, my polite response paid off, and
that Kenshin now sits happily in my gallery. :-)

P.S.--Kudos to Misa for her response to the
anonymous poster asking about her Heero auction. I
think she gave them a more informative answer than
anyone too cowardly to sign a name deserved.
