The only time you need "full disclosure" is when
selling, just like everybody else seems to be
saying. Do what you want in your gallery.
I would equate this to framing the cel. Some
people frame just the main image. Other people
frame the very edges of the acetate, so that the
edges of the paint can be seen. It's a personal
choice and doesn't mean a thing until you try to
sell it to someone else.
Although it's not up on my site, I did modify a
sketch scan. I had a great sketch of several
characters from Jubei Chan, but the monkey boys'
smiles were on a seperate sketch. So I lifted
them and put them on the main image. Now it looks
much better. But I would use the undoctored scans
if I ever put it up for sale. ^_^
