One of the things that I found was going wrong
with mine, btw, was that the paint, when it was
drying, would sort of pull together and leave big
cracks when it dried. I was painting, letting it
dry some, and painting some more, which gave me
lots and lots of cracks that were impossible to
fill. I should've applied more paint in the first
place. But I found that when I was painting on
top of my light table, I could *see* where I
needed more paint, before it had a chance to dry
and crack. I still had to go over a few spots,
but it worked much, much better than my first
effort. :o)
So suggesting that people paint over a light
source might be a good hint, as it can cut back
on a few problems that might pop up.
