Thanks for your replies, guys.  Those 
were precisely the kind of level-headed answers I 
was looking for.  You're right of course, some 
conflict is inevitable and it happens in every 
hobby. I guess was just looking for some sort of 
reassurance that I wasn't stepping into a total 
vipers' pit.  ^_^  I get enough conflict at the 
office every day and would hate to get involved in 
it here as well!

Keys, I'll make a point of going through the 
archive. I don't know why I didn't think of that 
myself. Duh!  ^_^
