Twice I have bought a cel from someone, with the 
knowledge beforehand that the cel was damaged, 
and both I got for a more than reasonable price 
because of this. The first one (my first Nuriko 
death sequence cel) it had 3 creases diagonally 
along it, and when I recieved it, it bothered me 
so much I had to sell it.

Now the other one (my Hotohori & Miaka), I adore 
it just as much anyways. The very small bend at 
the top is hardly noticeable, and I could care 
less if Miaka is missing a little paint. ;) It's 
still a very beautiful cel, and I couldn't pass 
up a chance to obtain a cheap Hotohori TV cel 
(it's taken me a year and a half just to get two 
x.x;).

The only other damaged cel I have was damaged 
during shipping from Japan. My bathing Yui cel 
came without a bag, so it the background which 
was a bit oversized the cel on all sides, was 
fairly beat up. But thankfully the bends didn't 
go into the acetate. T_T Still, I love the cel, 
and it was cheap so I can't complain too much.
