I have spent probaly way too much on my cel 
collection.  But it's kind of strange that I 
always remember a cel that got away (some one 
else bought it) that only cost $20.  
I really regret not getting it as I liked the 
image and the show did not matter to me.
Sometimes it's the image that interest me and 
not the show or character.

So maybe it's possible to collect anime cels 
without going in debt.  Just depends on your 
cel collecting criteria.
