I have had the same thing happen to me- the first
time was for a cel that cost me more than I had
ever spent on a cel $200 - and it was a Tamahome
TV cel, which I had been wanting forever. I felt
bad about spending so much, and the cel was cool
but it just wasn't "it" for me.
I ended up selling it to a very loving home, and
I'm glad I did.
On the other hand, I got two cels I had been
waiting awhile for on one day, and I felt
disappointed in one from paint damage, and
disappointed in the other because the seller's
scan showed the colors more vibrantly than they
appeared on the cel.
But a few days later, I realized I really really
loved the expression of the character with
paintspots missing, and against a piece of paper
they didn't seem too bad.
And as for the other cel, it looked a little
brighter.
So, I think it goes both ways. |
