OK, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Celga's
premise that you bid on yahoo Japan auctions in
an effort to try to save money?? Well I looked
over there newer pricing chart, and instead of 10
dollars an item its now more like 10% markup.
Now if a cel here(US) is say 400 dollars and a
similar cel Yahoo Japan goes for oh 350000 yen,
at their stated rate of 110 yen = 1 dollar, thats
$318.18. A savings of almost 80 dollars, not bad.
However, add in their fee of 40 dollars and
another 20 on bank fees and shipping. Total on
that is knocking 380.00 dollars. On thier older
fee system I think the price would have come to
350.00. So my question simply..is it worth it to
save $20 maybe 30 after shipping is included?
Also, add in that the shipping time would most
likely be way less here, could make the savings
even slimer. I not trying to knock Celga, because
I think it's a great idea. However, I don't see
the fee justification. I mean its it four times
harder to put in a bid at 9000 yen as it is
40,000 yen, because their fee quadruples?? |
