Well, I myself love the OAV's. If anything, 
they're gorgeous eye candy. However, because RG 
Veda was a 10 volume manga, it's udnerstandable 
that there are points of the OAV that won't be 
understood, etc, because they had to cut out a 
small stand alone story from an epic. Basically, 
you'll like it, even if it endson a kidn of 
cliffhanger, but you like it a lot more if you've 
read the manga. Which I highly recommend, 
because, IMHO, it's one of CLAMP's best series, 
before they started fitting into that CLAMP 
formula...

Basically, it's based off of the old Hindu text 
of the Vedas, but re-told by CLAMP with the CLAMP 
twist. Truly gorgeous, one of their first works, 
when they had more members, lovely eye 
candy..each page is mesmerizing *.* K, I'll stop 
ranting now ^^;;
