Dear Shawnna,

Hi, try using either rubbing alcohol or mineral
spirits.  Either would be okay and safe to use on
acetate.  Just DO NOT use anything stronger (DO
NOT USE NAIL POLISH REMOVER, LYE, etc.).

Some people have found success in using their
fingernails too to remove chips =).  Good luck!
