My thoughts on this whle matter... *a nice post* ^_^ (Wed Apr 25 01:27:59 2001 )
Avery

You know, I'd be mad if someone sold my cel to
aother. How does the seller know the person who
got it, would offer more too? I hope if they
actually do something like that, they will let
the person who got it now, for they might be
wanting it just as bad-and they'd be angry for
the price going up though. It's just a very
sticky situation that the first person who asks,
should get it I think. Based on selling from a
personal site. I mean, you got it-you got it. If
they sell to another person, bad for business.
That will just make their business fail. They
might get more money for that one time, but in
the long run, they are loosing out and loosing
money and business. Customer service and making
your customers happy is a big thing to making it.
Gomen, just my brother owns a near million dollar
company on customer service and good customer
service and making folks happy is VERY important
to making it. It can increase profits, give you
more customers who heard by word of mouth that
you are good so people will want to buy more of
what you've got. Doing that and selling it to
someone else for more money is not only, a bit
mean, unfair-in that world, it is NOT business
smart-plus the seller will loose money. Customers
come first and if you have one happy one-better,
than have a very pissed off angry sad one person.
Just mean if you offer someone a cel, then get
their hopes up because you can offord it, that
you go off and then destroy their dreams. Nothing
wrong with offering more money, on the other side
of things-I would not do that. I'd be happy
someone got the cel and would take care of it and
glad to see someone else happy. Can always ask
them later on in life if they want to trade or
make an offer to the new owner. See nothing wrong
with that method too, instead of trying to snatch
the cel from the first person who got it and
deserves it from the seller.
Just instead of making a large offer, they should
have thought of another method. mean, they
should tihnk about the other person involved. How
would they feel? They are going to feel sad, cry
even if they got something and the hear the
seller say, "Sorry, sold to another!"

If a seller did that, they would not get mine or
my family's business, or anyone else I know.
Would not trust a place that does that, and they
will pretty much not make it in the end, from the
business world aspects of it. ^^

Take care,
Avery~
