I had 2 sellers renege on me when I had cels on 
hold, as they got a higher offer.  That just 
really pisses me off when it happens.  Both 
sellers aren't around anymore, so they were 
probably jerking other people around too.

I know if I see a cel I want and its already on 
hold, I ask to be put on waiting list if dealer 
does that practice.  I have gotten several cels 
that way when 1st buyer flaked out on paying.

Also, one time when I was buying cel from dealer 
he told me a little about another cel he had - 
where he put it on hold and another person really 
wanted it and asked if he would relay an offer to 
the person who had cel on hold.  I saw no problem 
with that, as the 2nd person wasn't trying to do 
something underhanded but was making offer to new 
owner much like see posts on cel forum asking who 
got what cel and if they would take offer.
