otherwise I wouldnt have this hobby!....
I cant believe that I told a friend of mine that 
exact phrase this morning..
  I cant belive that when I told him I missed a 
couple of cels I wanted he said:
"well at least youll have money for the week for 
once."
 cel collectors should never have practical 
friends. Its a curse. When I see a beautiful cel  
that I must have or ill just die..the practical 
friend sees a car payment...when I have visions 
of backgrounds and UV protected glass to frame my 
odds and ends cels..They see groceries.
 What the heck is wrong with them?! cant they see 
art nourishes the soul?? The true practical 
friend doesnt even see CARTOONS AS ART!! and 
dammit..they watch the cartoon channel to see the 
anime you love because "its free on cable..why 
should I BUY it?" Practical to the very end. 
***humph*** My practical friend collects coins..I 
think the point of coins is to get rid of them as 
fast as you can to trade for pretty cels. 
   You would think collectors are collectors..The 
same psychosis after all beats in their blood 
that beats in mine..the desire to hoard and have 
something unique unto yourself..it must be the 
same for all collectors..but how can you have a 
practical collector..its an oxymoron!
  grrrrrrrr theres a moral to this story..Never 
ask for sympathy from a practical friend..loans 
of money, yes..but never sympathy!
