I just realized that the second attempt page I 
just put up is encoded in Shift-JIS and not in 
iso-8859-1. That mistake is now corrected, but I 
was wondering how shift-JIS encoding compares to 
iso-8859-1 encoding on other people's computers 
(they look the same on mine).
