(1) Is it hand painted reproduction cels?
(2) Is it a scene from the anime or something that 
    was made specifically for this cel?

   
   I only ask the second question because a bunch
of ANC cels were recently released (this is what a
dealer told me at Fanime...I guess before the
company released only a limited number)...so if it
*is* an image from the anime...you may want to
wait and see if it shows.  But if it's specific to
the reproduction cel market...then that's a
different story.
   Also...how much is money are you spending.  I
don't think a machine reproduction (however
limited) should be worth that much.  I know I
personally wouldn't put more than $30 (and it
better be a very good image) for a machine made
cel.
   A hand painted cel is a totally different
matter though.  I think I'd be willing to pay much
more for a hand painted cel.
