Yes, I completely agree with Tanaka. Cowboy Bebop 
cels have always been expensive and relatively 
scarce, but in the past year, it has gotten worse-
-if that's possible. Last year, I won an Ed cel 
from Y!J for a buyout price, yes *buyout*, of 
6000yen. Just this month, a similar shot went for 
over $300 on Ebay.

As I mentioned before, a shirtless Spike (and 
I've seen several cels of this sequence, so they 
are not particularly rare.) sold for 75,000 yen. 
So, it doesn't surprise me in the least that the 
gorgeous Faye/Ein with matching background was 
snapped up immediately.  Recently, I saw a B 
grade shot of Faye (I think she was standing 
smoking her cigarette--at any rate, it wasn't a 
full face forward shot) sell for 55,000 yen on Y!
J. So again, it doesn't surprise in the least 
that Link's $350 Faye cel was snapped up so 
quickly.

I'm so glad I started collecting CB last year. I 
really treasure each of the five cels that I have.
