okay folks, I need some help here. I have some
very interesting info on our beloved one-winged
bishounen. (The one thats not Sephiroth or
whatsisface from Seimaden..) you know, the one
there's cels of!
After MUCH MUCH hassle, I finally got my hands on
a copy of the second Tenshi ni Narumon character
design book. (I've been trying for nearly a
year). This one covers some of season two, and
so I greedily ripped through it looking for
Raphael.. only to discover an -extremely-
interesting thing:

Raphael has a scar. I'd gotten the impression
his loss of his wing had something to do with a
suspension or something.. but I guess that's not
the case. In the character designs, they point
out where the scar from the loss of his wing is.
I don't suppose ANYBODY has a clue as to in the
story where/why he lost his wing? (or for that
matter why Mikael lost his halo?) Not only this,
but if he had recently sustained some kind of
injury, it might better explain when Mikael first
ran into him why he was like "dont overdo it."
I'd always kind of wondered about that since
Mikael seemed to be acting like he had a
legitimate reason to think Raphael might not be
in top condition.

Below is an image of the three pictures that
point out the scar. (In the first one its kind of
hard to see, if you read katakana you'll
see "kizu" written and a little line pointing to
the left side of his chest.)

Anyway.. I checked the few Raphael cels I have
and his jacket is covering the area. (Despite how
incredibly similar to one of the poses my cel
from Mikael's stint with electric guitar is.)
Did this actually make it into the anime? Does
anyone have a cel of him with the scar? And if
you do.. can you show it?
