First, thanks for all the responses.
But this leads to another question: how to
determine fair market value for hanken cels?
Comparison shopping works well for production
cels, but hanken are so uncommon that it isn't
practical.
Can a hanken cel be judged based on N times the
price of a close to ideal production cel of the
same character? If so, what's a reasonable range
for N and what factors will influence its value?
This may sound like an overly analytical approach
to valuation. However, I want to be sure I'm
prepared when opportunity comes knocking so any
rules of thumb are welcome.
By the way, thanks to those who included links to
your sites with hanken cels. From what I've seen,
I certainly have a long ways to go but it's good
to know there's company along the way.
Regards,
Chi
