I know that this isn't a tech support forum, but
I figured that most of you here own scanners, so 
maybe you can help me with my dilema.

From an old "best scanner" debate, I noticed quite
a few of you folks own Epsons, so I went out and
bought one.

Have any of you experienced the following:
1-Scanner ONLY turns on when NOT connected to a
computer.
2-Scanner will not turn on if the world depended
on it if connected to a PC.
3-When leaving the scanner on and connected to 
your PC, disconnecting the scanner instantly turns
it on(the PC is off during this process.)

I would have liked to add some more cels to my
sale page but I can't until this stupid scanner 
works.
