What's the story on these two anime? I've watched 
them both and was wondering why two different takes 
on the same story would be released as anime. I 
understand that it's based on a true story from 
Japanese history. I might be going against the 
grain here by saying that I liked the more 
realistic Samurai X better than the other one. 
Seems the other would be more popular, from what 
I've read on this forum. 

Just so this message won't be seen as off topic, 
have any cels from Samurai X ever been realeased?
