Hello, can anybody answer my question.  I want to 
know if it is legal for people to sell fan subbed 
copies of DBZ and other anime in the US that 
hasn't been released here yet.  I'm curious, 
because I go to many comic and anime conventions 
around where I live and there are several dealers 
who sell tons of fan subbed anime.  They are all 
copies and not originals, at least I'm pretty 
sure they are.  Even on Ebay, I see them too.  
However, I don't think I've ever seen any thing 
that has been released in the US for sale.  This 
makes me think it's legal or at least nobody does 
anything about it.  I've bought several DBZ tapes 
from these dealers because I'm a big time DBZ 
fan, so I can't complain, but I just wanted to 
know how legal it was.
