Hi,
Timing is everything in life, and as with all
things, some things come at a bad time. Like,
when you always catch updates at a store, and you
miss the one update where they put up a cel you
really wanted!
Or, you catch all the updates you want, and
cant afford the cels =(. Usually, if a lot of
cels I want come at once, and I know I can't pay
for them, I just look at the cels I have....Then,
I dont feel quite so bad. I know that doesnt
always totally work for me, but sometimes it
helps. =)I wish I could give a scenario to make
money appear, but I don't know any of those!
Also, I don't remember who posted it, but I saw
someone talking about getting spending money for
cels and said who needs two kidneys anyway. So
selling a kidney seemed to be a money making
scheme someone came up with.....I know that was a
joke and it made me laugh. So, I made a little
scenario to deter this way of thinking. hee

The kidneys don't operate at full capacity
anyway, so that is why you can have one. So, you
want a really nice Belldandy AMG cel and say bye
bye to a kidney! Why not, you have another one...
But,the problem with kidneys is that obvious
symptoms of kidney trouble don't show up until
your kidneys are operating at about 25% their
capacity. So, if you don't get routine checkups,
then your creatine level could be going up and
you won't even know! So, then you do get it
checked, your creatine is thru the roof and your
kidneys aren't working right. Then you would need
a transplant to get another kidney since you sold
your first one for money for cels. And, the
monoclonal antibodies they give you in order to
prevent rejection of a transplant are designed to
destroy your wbc's so you won't mount an immune
response against the donor organ. The body has
issues with foreign cels, even if they are meant
to help. So, you are in bad bad shape.
So, the message of the day is, even if you
really want cels, selling a kidney is a bad idea,
even if you could get lots of money and a
Belldandy cel!
Sorry for the drawn out scenario, but after
taking A&P 1 2, Immmunology and Pathophysiology,
I know way too much about the kidneys!
Take care,
Robin, who really wants to graduate and stop
taking all these really hard science classes!
