Last year I heard from someone cosplaying as Jigen that one
year they had every single main character from Lupin III 
except for Fujiko. I decided that I'd be brave enough to
go as Fujiko...I could get a black leather jumpsuit and I 
certainly have the cleavage for it...but my hair is dark
dark brown, almost black, and really short. Fujiko has had
several hair colors and styles but never that one. I'd have
to wear a wig which I wouldn't be too keen about. Also I
wear glasses and contacts would be hard for me to get, and
I don't feel like walking around a convention all blurry-eyed.
I doubt anyone would recognize me on the spot so I decided
no to that. Maybe some other time. I'd really like to cosplay
her, I think I could pull it off.

Then I decided sometime in the middle of last year to be 
Videl, Gohan's girlfriend from DBZ, with the pigtails. I
knew I could find bike shorts and make an Orange Star Highschool
pin, and I was even willing to spring for blue-colored 
contacts. But then I cut my hair short again (I'm ugly with
long hair, because my hair is really really thick and it
gets poufy) so nix to that.

My new idea, which I might not go through with, it to 
be Lain. Again I'd have to get contacts, but all I really 
need to do is cut my hair like hers, which I'm hesitant to
do because of my parents (it'd grow out before school and 
I could go in and get it trimmed). I doubt I could get 
anyone to cut my hair like hers either. Then I was going to
bring three costumes with me...a slipdress, the school uniform 
(the hardest to put together, IMO, not only that, it'd be 
hot) and the bear costume. I probably won't do this either 
because it'll be hot and I don't want to be wearing anything
with sleeves, and if I wear the slipdress no one will notice
me (well, except for the hair maybe).
