People should be able to ask anything they like without being flamed. I agree with that. But people also need to be
willing to do a little work on their own. The link to the Deputy Service that you provided is less than five
mouseclicks off of Yann's Keep Track. Also all the links to click on to find it are in English and yet some people
can't make the effort. In the terms of your shoestore example, it is the equivalent of someone sitting in their
house and not setting foot in a mall or store and saying "someone help me because I can't find any shoes".

In that case, I consider that their shortcoming. I would never flame them for asking the question but wouldn't bother
answering them either.

Now if someone were looking for something and said "I have looked here, here, and here, but I still can't find what I
need" then that is different and I write the person if I can help.

I guess I am just someone willing to help those who have first attempted to help themselves. Something to also
consider is that maybe if people tried really hard and took some time to look for something themselves, they would find
a few "secrets" of their own in the process.
