Yes, I prefer the sketchy genga than the cleaned douga too.
The genga are usually drawn by lead animators, and douga 
are often re-drawn by the regular animators.  And if you
are lucky to get some gengas from certain famous artists,
like H. Mikimoto (Macross character designer) or N. Yuuki
(Lodoss War character designer), then that genga becomes
more valuable to collect.
