mmm, well I'm sure its effected Pokemon and Sailor Moon, 
becuase before they became "mainstream" in USA, the only 
people who were aware of them at all would be Japanese and 
those stateside who get fansubs and the like.. (hehe like 
me :P!)  but if its on normal tv regularly, you're just 
going to have THAT MUCH more people who know and love the 
show and thus want to collect from it...  I haven't even 
seen Escaflowne yet, although its high on my list of things 
to go rent. I'm glad more people will be getting exposed to
 anime, but yeah, at the same time it means more competition
 and higher prices for those cels you want.  And the 
internet just makes it that much easier for us all to get 
those cels. :)
