Although, I'll tell you, as much as I hate seeing 
the SM stuff. . . Just *TRY* to find original 
Japanese copies of some soundtracks. >_<  Not 
happening. If something is no longer available in 
Japan and not available in licenced form in the 
US, I'll bow to SM CDs once in a while. But I put 
in a *LONG* search for the Japanese version 
before getting one. . . Longer if it's something 
that I really do want to support coming to the US.

But I too hate that some "fans" of a show think 
these things are okay. The fans that see the SM 
copy of the CD and the original copy and go with 
the SM copy every time. (I don't mean to sound 
harsh or uppity about it - I *know* that the $25-
$30 higher price tag on the real import is 
murder) or have no problem with running out to 
grab fansubs prior to a domesitc release of 
something so that they can have it cheap. Don't 
they realize they're hurting the very people who 
make the show of which they profess to be a fan? 
(*raised eyebrow*)
