I found that also works for cleaning the colored ink
lines found on the front of cels. (Many times you may find
bit of paper stuck to the colored ink lines.)
I take a soft, cotton cloth, and make it slightly damp,
and gently "brush" the paper off. I haven't had any problems
doing this-- at first I was afraid it would wipe away the
hand-inked lines, but it comes out fine.
