I have never bid on a cel on e-bay yet. I watch the winning
bids on nice cels, and they are almost always higher than
what I would pay for them.
Lately it's become a place for dealers to unload a lot of
poor quality cels.
It has attracted fradulent people.
It is a good place to gauge the current market value of cels.
When anime cels started appearing on ebay, I was afraid that
cel prices would go up. But I don't think that happened,
except for Last Unicorn cels. Sailor Moon went up, but I
think its gone back down to where it should be,
except for certain rare characters. As the market becomes
saturated with a character or show that was in demand,
the prices people are willing to pay for it on ebay goes down.
