Dear Allen,

Well, it's a good idea to leave the cels in their bags in
your cel books because if you did take them out of the bags,
they might end up sticking to those background papers in the
cel book itself or anything else for that matter. Also, as
Trebuchet says, it would help keep ones oily fingers from
touching the cels.

By the way, Rosemary, I'm impressed at your diligence (I
have no idea if I spelled that correctly or not!). I wish
I had that drive and creativity to make my own cel book from
stuff at Michaels! I guess I'm just too lazy =(.

Also, if you are looking for cheap cel books, try going to
your nearest art store (not craft store like Michaels
because I know they don't carry them) like Dick Blick. I
don't know if Dick Blick is a national chain or not, but
they sell those black hard plastic ITOYA cel books/art
display portfolio books for only $10.00 each for the
standard size ones. Dick Blick can also special order other
sizes through their catalog. Kinko's also sold ITOYA cel
books for awhile for $15.00 in a range of colors in their
little office supply area, but they stopped in my area. The
best part is, you don't have to pay shipping costs but you
do have to pay tax ;).

Sincerely,

Sonia
