eBay was NOT hacked, it was bombarded with file requests that
were all received at the same time, thus causing an overload 
that caused their server to shut down.  Those responsible also
did this to several other major sites, such as Amazon and CNN
among others.  
It looks to me as just a case of some brats who wanted to see
if they could do something major and disruptive.  Maybe there 
is a way to turn them into anime fans...  :)
