The cel shops I have done business with and can
give my total recommendation to are:
Anime Lane
Ninja Death Graphics
Aino Anime
Anime Taro
Asylum Comics
House of Anime - little high on some cels
Splash Page Comics - little high on some cels
Anime Pavilion
Two celshops I can recommend with a few restrictions are:
1. Nichibei Anime Club - cels are a little high usually,
plus you now have to email them to get the newer cels
price(a practice I do not care for). Really want the cel
if buy from them
2. Excel Animation - Takes forever for them to update
their catalog, and shipping is slow too(but usually throws
in something extra for the wait endured).
The only celshop that I have dealt with that
I can not recommend is:
Anime Exchange - Disorganized, conveniently lost mail, and
goes back on their word with a 'So what, big deal' attitude.
One item did manage to order from them was damaged. I kept
the item as had wanted it, but would not have paid the price
they were asking if knew the condition beforehand.
I have tried ordering a few other times from them, but have
now given up; as it seems to me you have to be their
particular friend or wave more cash then person who may
already have bought the cel to get anything from them.
Other people may have had a totally different experience
with them but this is my observation.
They also employ the email for price on a cel. Its like,
are you afraid for people to see the outrageous prices you
want? Think for them this is a tactic in their pick and
choose friends way of selling cels. |
