A chromacel is pretty much an oversized trading card. It's a picture done in colored Mylar over a sheet of cardboard. Not bad looking but not original, hand painted art either, so don't pay a lot for one. If you go to the nearest comic book store and ask to see a 'chromium card', that is what a chromacel looks like. Chromacels are sold for @ $15 at places like Sun Coast video stores. They are usually limited editions of "only" several thousand. A sericel is painted on an acetate sheet and looks like a production cel. Sericels are also limited to only several thousand copies! A production cel is a limited edition of one. |
