As far as trading anything at a con goes there are several 
different approaches.

1) Unless you have something really good, forget about trading
   with any of the dealers in the dealer room.  This is my 
   experiance.  Most of them are trying to make a profit on the 
   con or at least make back the small fortune in expenses they 
   just spent.

2) Many con-goers will trade with you, the problem is finding 
   these people.  There are many bulletin boards throughout the 
   con center or hotel where you can post that you would like to
   trade.  Also, you can find trading partners on these bulletin
   boards.  Personally I haven't had much luck with this.

3) I've seen many people just sitting around in corridors and 
   such with their stuff spread around them and in their laps, so
   that's another way to do it.  

4) And lastly, just talk to people you see or meet at the various
   cel booths in the dealer room.
