I went and had a look at the cel in question, and what bothers
me is not that someone is selling a cel that they bought recently
but the wording in the auction description.
It seems to me that a "perfect" cel would not be heavily
spotted as this one seems to be, but most people don't mention
this. Does it bother anyone when they discover they have
bought a cel that has a lot of spotting and it is not stated?
Just curious.
The comment about selling the cel outright after the
auction has been going for a while is what really strikes me
as unfair. As far as I know it is also very much against ebay's rules.
It isn't a very fair auction if someone can offer someone
cash to close the auction, while the people that are bidding (or interested
in bidding) are watching to see if they can afford the cel by the end.
Why not let the auction run it's course if you have a reserve to
make sure you get what you want for the cel? I would not
bid on an any auction by a seller who is willing to do what this
seller is doing, but he may not realize how it appears to others.
