I too love the artwork of Nazca, but I've noticed different styles
of animation in the different cels I've seen.  I have a number of cels
from the series in my own collection, especially the blue haired
character named Tate. 
As far as the storyline goes, apparently a teacher (Tate) and his 
student are reincarnations of rival Inca warriors (Tate's girlfriend
is the reincarnation of an Inca high priestess).  You can read

If you own the pencil board, you'll notice that it's entirly
in Spanish.
